ARDHATare working in partnership with Pochin on the Flag Ship £30 Million development until autumn 2015. Hardhat have been tasked with delivering a full Turn Key Soultion for the site including Remotely Monitored CCTV and a full catering facility.

During the procurement phase of the project HARDHAT were able to suggest a bespoke package that enabled Pochin to reduce overheads by using a fully self sufficient Remotely Monitored CCTV system instead of a Manned Guard solution.

Pochin needed a local provider that could deliver on their promises and ensure that the project was kept on time and within budget. Proactive in their approach with over 20 years of experience HARDHAT were able to anticipate program demands and ensure the correct resources were ready to be utilized.

Key delivery processes were clearly identified from initial sales enquiry on through to risk assessments and assignment instructions and contracts. Many verification tools were implemented that include site inspections, operational and client meetings, audits and a series of independent reviews carried out by the compliance manager and operations manager as a means to ensure the highest level of service delivered to the client.

With all services required RAMS were done including COSHH for welfare and builders clean done and agreement from site management during discussions upfront challenges were resolved to ensure tight programming schedules were maintained to ensure the building was handed over on time.

HARDHAT were able to ensure that all aspects of the project were taken into consideration including local and environmental issues.

In relation to the local community Hardhat ensured that where possible all staffing was from the local area.

Staff induction is a thorough process and is based on the company ethos of SLIDE and ethical values with the Operators Handbook being used as the principal terms of reference for the induction.

This was a £30 Million development of 240 flats with communal space. HARDHAT provided:

Specific to HMRC we have been able to ensure that the same Gatemen who started the project has been on site throughout the entire time. This has enabled us to provide consistency and reliability that can be hard to find. We have also delivered over 10,000 hours of incident free cover.

From design to delivery Hardhat are able to oversea the program and release the project team to focus on building matters rather that non-critical services we manage.
